Meet Xiao Long Meow, an irresistibly cute kitten inspired by a plump and perfectly pleated xiao long bao! With her round dumpling body, tiny paws and sweet expression, this playful cat–dim sum mashup is ready to bring some extra cuteness to your crochet collection.

This cat amigurumi crochet pattern is perfect for anyone who loves kawaii animals, food-inspired plushies and unique handmade toys. Xiao Long Meow would make an adorable gift for cat lovers, dim sum fans or collectors of cute crochet creations.

Choose your favourite yarn type and colours to give Xiao Long Meow her own personality. Use finer yarn to create a tiny dumpling kitten or soft, chunky yarn for an extra-squishy cat plushie.

Xiao Long Meow is part of the Yum Cha Chums, a collection of cute and squishy animal–dim sum characters designed by EMI Creations.

Add Xiao Long Meow to your pattern collection and crochet your very own little dumpling companion—she is simply bao-dorable!
